Good on you for making light of a shitty situation. Ive lived on the Outer Banks of NC my entire life and am all too familiar with flooding and the terrible impacts storms like Helene can have. Luckily we were spared this time, but it sucks to see what people west of us are dealing with. I hope you can bounce back sooner than later.
