I had a few friends that I played with and when at least three of us were together we would primarily play with the intention to kill the mercs instead of winning via the objective. This game had such a a great multiplayer mode.
Man, the multiplayer in Splinter Cell: Double Agent was unmatched. We need something like that today!They don’t make games like that anymore. A remake would be awesome!
Idk which Splinter Cell it was but I still use that whistle to get peoples attention.

There was a whole period there in the 2000s where I feel like developers were more willing to experiment with asymmetrical multiplayer games. The AvP series springs to mind as well.
Ubisoft had the whole Splinter Cell series on sale about a year ago. I snagged it b/c I loved playing it when it came out originally. Just checked but I don’t see it in the store now. Bummer.
Still my favorite online game, you can just about find a game on Xbox still if you’re patient enough
