Dying wish, quick revive, winters wail and stamin up.
I never changed it because it worked.
if its a easter egg where survival is important and getting trapped may happen, winter wail goes in modifier, its extremely broken. If not, then timeslip and staminup are great choices. other great perks are electric cherry, dying wish, quick revive, phd if needed, and bandolier can be a good choice too. Sometimes its fun to just put secret sauce in the modifer and see what happens. I personally think the perk system is great and there are tons of great ones to suit different players.

I usually run bandolier bandit, dying wish, phd, and secret sauce modifier
I’ll be honest, i actually have a different load out for each map. BO4 perks w/ modifiers on the 4th… are highly underrated.
Some perks are staples for me. Voyage is huge so Staminup is a must. Victorious Tortoise is amazing on BotD. I keep Mule Kick on DotN because that’s my main camo grinding map.
I normally use the random perk one for 3 then Staminup in my modifyer as I run around so much.

Seems like the only way to remove crotch perks is to make all perks available and not limited like cold war

I don’t use the same 4 perks every game, I use the class system as a character build system akin to a Roguelite or RPG. Each class is built around each of the 4 character’s personalities, Devil Dog for Dempsey, Kaminari for Takeo, Doctor for Richtofen, and Exterminator for Nikolai. Same deal for Chaos. Idk if that was the intended way to use the perk system but it’s definitely the most fun way to use it imo, it makes every game feel unique and actually makes me utilize different perks and play styles that I wouldn’t normally use.
From the responses here, didn’t Blundell achieve what he was going for? I know people wanted Jugg back but it sounds like he achieved what he set out to do.
Was it just that using a variety of perks wasn’t something people wanted (if it’s not broken don’t fix it)? Or was it truly just the fact that you start with jugg, so there isn’t any jugg to purchase, that had people upset with the perk system?
Dying wish, stamina up, bandolier bandit and, time slip. I’ve ran those since i got the game at launch, i’ve had more of a shift in perk preference on The Final Reich and that map has 5 perks not including quick revive.

I run Dying Wish as my first perk and the rest of the slots are secret sauce.
I like being able to change strategies and setups on the fly and use perks I would never put on a class and be stuck with. It just makes BO4s perk system feel so much better and more dynamic.

Why we acting like BO4 was actually good?
Time slip, quick revive, stamina up, winters wail, dying wish. They are the best imo. Usually running stamina up in modifier slot.
I wonder if he just changed the perk system because Activision was screaming “Battle Royale Jason, that’s what this game is about!”

There are (in my opinion) 12 valuable perks in BO4, so my set-up varies massively depending on the map and my objective.
