Tenchu was the go to ninja game at that time but i really liked Shinobido and the feeling of freedom it gave in the missions. Really would like a sequel

it has a sequel. ninjas are named after flowers. i think the main character was zen the spider lily. there is new conflict in utakata. new warlords. no more sadame and akame. you get to use a glider and a new insta kill skill. it canonized which ending was true from the last game. it’s not as good as the first one.

Shinobido was such an awesome game. It really deserved a sequel.
It had some issues, tough. Items and Alchemy were overpowered, there were too few maps, and the combat system was not the best.
This type of thing is very common for a first entry in a series, tough. The first game has a strong proposal, but is rough around the edges. The second and third entry is when the devs fix the mais issues, realize the full vision for the project and achieve masterpiece status.
I would have loved to see what a Shinobido 2 or 3 could have been.

I remember 2 things:
Beware of Bears
and
Crouching slash was kinda busted.
Akumozzz
Sekiro was a scrapped Tenchu sequel

Shinobido 2 was on the PS Vita. Leaving highly explosive Sushi as a Bear for your Daimio assassination targets was pretty amusing tough.
