Thought I couldn’t get 3733mhz on 4×8 with my 5800x3d, but turns out I was just not pushing enough voltage, which is funny because I swear I had 3800mhz stable on my 5600x with less voltage.
Funnily enough, compared to my old 5600x results, I can actually run the SCL values at 2 instead of 4 with 3733mhz so that’s neat.
My theory is that I wasn’t truly stable, but the loose timings were masking it very well (as in, a full day of P95 well).
IIRC Testing were 4 hours of Ycruncher, 2 of OCCT corecycler and 3 of P95, followed by a month of monitored gaming, no errors at all so far.
I’m hopefully not going to touch this for the rest of the system’s life.
