    This marks BHVR’s 4th acquisition in 2 years, after CodeGlue, Fly Studio, and SockMonkey Studios, and comes a week after Midwinter Entertainment, acquired 2 years ago by BHVR, was shut down following the cancellation of Dead By Daylight spin-off Project T. BHVR has also laid off over 100 employees this year.

    BI has a pretty bad track record when it comes to games that isn’t dead by daylight, so I definitely have some concerns here.

    However, I wonder that the reason they acquired that studio is because of that bad track record. AKA, they’re giving up making another successful game, and would just let another studio do it for them.

    I wish they retain the original dev team and just let them do their thing. Darkest Dungeon 1 and 2 are great games and any sequel will have a definite audience so Please BI dont fuck it up. (Im not hopeful tho)
