With the excessive amount of negativity surrounding every thing nowadays relating to zombies, I simply ask you to look back in time at post like this so we can see that even beloved games had extremely vocal fans that were extremely negative to the game.
I have nothing against this post and I simply like to evaluate the current landscape with the past, This community has always had a problem with change and even tho the entries before BO4 made very small changes we can't pretend like this type of criticism is anything new.
I don't hate the new zombies experience, I can honestly say I enjoy Cold War even tho it's not "Classic Zombies" and I won't sit here and pretend like MWZ and Vanguard were underrated experiences.
And yes these are simple excerpts from a few comments in some random site but the difference is that nowadays we have such an interconnected experience with Youtubers/Streamers along with the Vocal minority that it's basically imposible to drown out the constant wave of criticism and negativity.

Just because you enjoyed cw doesn’t make criticism bad, because if it happened to not be your cup of tea, you’d also be enthusiastic about getting a better experience from the next one
It’s just criticism, it’s valid and they are entitled to be wrong, just because it encourages new ideas if nothing else.

I still agree with all of what he is saying about black ops 2 my opinions have not changed on that bo3 my opinion did change when I warmed up to shadows though I still think the pack a punch could have been easier to access

I mean everything game has criticisms, no game is truly perfect and obviously the people who have an issue with a said game is always going to be loud and speak it
To be fair, Tranzit and Die Rise are still mostly hated to this day and Nuketown is at best controversial. BO2 had a bad start but got better. BO3 is a true redemption arc, that game went from being hated to being beloved. Afaik BO1 wasn’t controversial at all until the later zombies maps, which most people just said were too hard

I mean… Yeah? They’re right? BO2 zombies was garbage. We didn’t get a good map until ***months*** after launch. The rose tinted nostalgia glasses are strong with this one.
Theres a difference with complaining about stuff like glitches and no private matches on the leaderboard, complaining about new changes you havent actually gotten to experience, and complaining about things not changing. Complaining about changes you havent experienced is idiotic, complaining about things you have experienced before (such as loadouts or the modern point sytem) is fine.
People are negative about BO6 because they have already had experience with the stuff theyre complaining about/disappointed with.
