At least we can be relatively sure that the connectors are not going to melt since the current can be split on 2 of them… At least as long as the this is not 800W+

Maybe this is there fox for all the burnt connecters. Split the amps over two connectors is a lot less heat.

This is absurd. The way GPUs are demanding more and more watts, like electricity is free, is out of control. It’s not scaling efficiently, and it needs to stop. It’s bad for my wallet, and even worse for the environment.
Am I the only one who thinks regulators need to step in at some point?

Around 2 or so years ago I got a 1300w power supply, I hope it’s enough for 5090
