Theyve already confirmed that its not a factory system and that instead you earn a random gobblegum like every 2 rounds.
They are 100% going to monetize these.
I think that you will be able to buy “schematics” and pay to bypass the cool down.
On the other hand, the game is on gamepass. This gives financial motive for Activision to invest in dlc/monthly content for zombies in contrast to cw, vangaurd, and mwz
Expectation:
Reality: Gobblegum packs will come in Bundles and Battlepass like the Acquisitions in MWZ
