As much hate as EA gets, you figure this wouldn’t even be news at this point. They’ve shown time and again they only care about money, stop giving them yours. I fully understand developers exist to make money, but EA is especially scummy.

What’s a holodeck?
Just when you think EA couldn’t get worse they do it.
Anything but make actual updates to a football game.
It’s just such an exhausting idea that breaks down as soon as you consider it.
I don’t WANT every person in Skyrim to have a full life. Being able to talk to every single LLM- powered character would quickly get boring.
Just enough for immersion, and then move on to a curated experience
Sorry, but aren’t most EA “Videogame characters” just, you know, real people? They even used a football player as an example. Are they basically saying that because they have the right to the NFL license for games, they have the right to make fake AI versions of every NFL football player for use outside of the games?
That seems… objectionable, at best.
I really don’t like on the event horizon of machine sapients we are trying to use them as eternal slaves.

I’m having a hard time understanding how anybody could say these words in this order.
