“Look, V, I know I can’t fully fill Welles’ shoes. But if you need someone to talk to, remember you do have a choom in your head.”
“Johnny Silverhand, being understanding and nice for once?”
“Oh make no fucking mistake you crybaby, I am only doing this to make sure you don’t break before we make it to Mikoshi.”
Johnny’s backhanded tactics seem to have worked, as the merc chuckled upon hearing his words. V isn’t Johnny’s type, but even he had to admit, Valerie looked damn fine when she smiles.
“Thanks, Johnny.”
