Motherboard CPU socket pins bent, PC shop won’t touch it. Wife saved me with one simple trick

    Lol, nice. I’d use a .5 mechanical pencil instead. Pull the lead out and use the tube on the tip to adjust the pin. Works on aircraft, and PC’s with some patience.

    I’ve had to do things like this in the past using a sewing needle.

    I can endure BIOS updates all day, but doing that stuff made me more nervous only because it was a friend’s new motherboard I was risking in the repair.

    Fixed mine with the sharp end of a nail clipper. Lol
