People overvalue their own stuff and undervalue other people’s stuff all the time. It’s how Facebook Marketplace works.

  2. 2quick96

People don’t know better or put anything and see what works. Not surprising.

If you’re playing competitive games an 8GB GPU is fine.

They’d have to pay me to use an RX580 lol

How dare you edge me like that? You’re not just going to post an insane deal and then not let us know where its located so I can go pick it up right now.🤬

You should tell them it’s worth more so that they put a higher price 🙂

Maybe bro talking about zibambwe dollars hahba

  8. The fact that the specs are so ambiguously mentioned (PSU? what CL for ram?!, etc.) really helps make this look suspicious AF

Probably bought it for that price during the shortage and thinks taking a few hundred off is acceptable for used.

If you want used to sell fast you take 30% off what an equivalent performing system today costs. So they’d be looking at like $200.

Lol more than double the price that wasn’t even close

They are looking for someone that doesn’t know better. You know better, that’s why you know this is not priced well.

The RX580 ain’t even getting driver updates anymore…

Many people don’t consider the fact that the parts devalue sharply once new hardware comes out. They price it as though it is a uses top tier part, while you can get much better new parts for the price.

Morons like this are all over fb marketplace and similar reselling platforms

They buy a mid range pre-built pc at like Walmart for $1500 and then try to sell it 3-4 years later for $1000 because uh, oh I know my worth

  15. Noob4Head

That’s the price of someone who doesn’t realize how quickly PC components lose their value. They’re pricing it based on what they *want* to get, but that’s not how the real world works.

A lot of people do this, but covid made it worse. Part pricing and the second hand market sky-rocketed, plenty of people are trying to get some money back, not understanding that it doesn’t work that way.

RX580 is still a trooper be not for that fucking price
