I’m having trouble finding the right name for our setting. There are no runners or corps, so it’s not cyberpunk. But it’s close.

I’m making a cyber-themed game but can’t figure out how to call our setting.

It’s a post-human 100% digital world. There are no corps or hackers. It’s a digital realm populated by “technologically-magical” entities. By magical I mean that some strange things happen with little justification. Frequent use of “memes” and loose associations.

There is no outside to this world, which means there are no human-dude sitting in front of the computer observing it all (I guess that’s who the player is, but we don’t break the 4th wall if that makes sense) .

I like to call it “cyber-fantasy”, but the problem with “fantasy” is that it’s very loaded with elf/dragons/magic expectations which do not fit.

Maybe I’m missing something obvious. I’m not a native speaker so it’s hard to be sure.

What else can be paired with cyber?

Why not “cyber-reality”? To me it kinda seems like that trope of where a character gets sucked into a digital world and they’re surfing the internet, kinda like that one show “reeboot” where these kids enter the cyberspace and fight inside a computer system basically like it’s some whole other world
