I honestly prefer this ending over the other ones, even the Panam ending. Something about storming arasaka tower yourself with Johnny there rooting you on is incredible, felt so nice. Really almost gave Johnny Vs body at the end, something I usually wouldn’t do. Just a little confused about the ending though. V got a job to pull of a heist at a casino in space and we never get to see what happened? What is he doing it for if he’s dying?

This is now the 5th time I’ve finished cyberpunk, and the game still stands as a masterpiece!

The client you’re doing the job for (Mr Blue Eyes) is kinda like g-man, as in he is behind a lot of the scenes in a good amount of missions, even in PL in one of the endings it’s shown he’s involved, but from what i can gather It’s probably still not a “good” ending, considering the sinister stuff Mr Blue Eyes gets up to.

  2. This is THE ending as far as I’m concerned.

    “Seasons dont fear the reaper”

This was THE ending for me, long before Phantom Liberty. It was everything that I wanted for my V to happen, becoming a legend of Night City and the possibility to go out in a blaze of glory.

But after experiencing the endings from the expansion and a lot of thoughts, the Tower became my favorite and the Sun a close second.

You aren’t robbing the casino for cash (the Delemain says you already have more money and resources you would basically ever need), but for a cure. Inside the casino is something Mr. Blue Eyes (a mysterious and powerful person who shows up in two other places who’s motivation and goals are unkown) wants, and he can cure V’s condition.

Every gig and mission you do after konpeki, you go solo. So doing the final mission alone with Johnny just feels right

Nah, i think Johnny is right. Maybe blowing the Arasaka tower is indeed the only answer to everything.

Considering the Rumbles of conflict between Nightcorp and Orbital Air, it’s entirely possible that the Crystal Palace Heist Becomes the new Saka Tower in that it’s a watershed moment with very scant details. Also lends itself to whatever your player character goes through in the next games

If V stays as the main character (unlikely)
Then it’s possible that your reward for stealing the Palaces data is a new body ala Altered Carbon and the game revolves around Militech/Zetatech shenanigans in the backdrop of a 5th corporate war.

    If it’s a new character
Then it be easy to incorporate aspects of the Crystal Palace Heist into the new players story.

A Nomad might be trying to use the spaceport to smuggle goods via air

A street kid might be trying to do a criminal deal near the spaceport

A corpo might be security/liaison on the Crystal Palace during the heist and gets fired after V gets the better of them
