Went back this week cause my YouTube was filled with bo4 zombie content I’m glad I did. I’m having a lot of fun. I’m a noob to the maps because I didn’t really play them during the bo4 life cycle so I’m relying on YouTube vids to get me by but it’s a learning curve and it’s fun. So far I’ve after prestiging and ranked a few weapons. After I get familiar with the maps I’m going to attempt the Easter egg but for now I want to continue leveling up and unlocking attachments and mess around with perk combos etc.
going off that actually does anyone got any recommendations for perk loadouts? So far I use death wish, stamin up, quick revive and electric burst. I use phd slider when I’m planning got using an explosive

Never played it on launch, since I was busy with other games, but when I played I had a blast it’s def in the top 3 zombies for me
Dead of the night and ix and ancient evil are one of the best cod zombies maps
Black ops 4 would be goated if the HUD was better and they didn’t entirely overhaul the perk system. The maps have incredible detail, and are genuinely oozing with character and the so desperately desired “aura”. I think Chaos would be an incredible story to revive, not for narrative purposes but purely for the settings they could use. There is so much of ancient history and speculative futuristic sci-fi that is untapped and in a modern engine with the same kind of attention to detail as the BO4 maps I think everyone would genuinely be happy (even with all the existing CW systems).
To be fair, at launch the game was a bit unplayable, and first impressions make a lot. But nowadays I usually hop on double xp weekends and always have a blast

I’ve been playing BO4 nonstop lately tbh, I like the customized perk system but I do agree removing jug wasn’t a good idea. That said I’ve been playing so much of IX, Ancient Evil, Classified and Dead of the Night and it’s seriously so much fun despite the changes so yes I do think we were too harsh on it
Yes definitely I came back today and did IX EE solo round 35 last elephant and I just insta downed:( but still really sick
Bro is really calling the map an “abomination” when literally the only gameplay we’ve seen is beta footage with half the content turned off 💀 at least wait and see the final version before you judge it.
I gave it another chance since a friend of mine owns it on PC and honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I remember and the guns are really fun (especially the Strife)
don’t get thy they never changed the hud tho, it’s still worse than bo6💀
I mean, I had a lot of fun on Black Ops 4. I certainly did not like the perk system, and I definitely played it a lot less than the previous Black Ops because I had just entered college… but overall I do like the atmosphere, the “cartoonish”(?) art and the gameplay.
It’s the same thing every year. People trash on the new Call of Duty. After a while they go back to the older CoD’s and they enjoy it even if they trashed on it in the past when it was new.
BO4 is one of my favorite Cod’s for Multiplayer and Zombies.
BO4 is the best game in the series. Haters were just a bunch of losers who don’t understand good things.
Nope. Any map that requires convoluted set-ups to get pack a punch or power is a bad map.
The maps are all pretty great. The core game systems (perks especially) were really a step back imo. The chaos EEs were fire but the aether EEs were pretty weak.

no, we were harsh on bo4 because it was a significant drop in quality compared to what we were getting at the time. i don’t regret (rightfully) criticizing bo4, it only looks good in hindsight.
I’m mean, the biggest argument back in the day from the YouTubers was “but what about ma jug?” And people bitching about how they hated chaos and they just wanted primus because bo3… I think going do the hole we got makes the most sense.
They gave us aether, we hated it.

Activision realized that if they pumped money into zombies, the zombies community would hate it… so logically they stripped a lot of that and now we got Cold War and later.
Absolutely. It’s tied for my 2nd favorite mode, with Blood being my 2nd favorite map of all time. I love everything about it. Even the HUD. So much personality in the game. So much love and passion poured into the game. (I’m not saying that’s not the case now though. I think they still love the mode and have passion for it. It’s just different than it was then.)
I tried playing it for a bit a few years ago but the differences to the older games pushed me off.
Me and my friends decided to give it a try recently and we are really enjoying it. Ancient Evil and IX are incredible. Next up is Dead of the Night.
Liberty falls hasn’t even officially released, so how can we call it abomination already? Let’s just give it a shot before passing judgement.
I have plenty of problems with it to this day but I’d rather play bo4 than Cold War purely because of the aesthetic and passion that is clear in virtually every map (save for a few)
Had plenty of flaws to get shit on but it’s a fun game
