Should be your answer.
That scratch is near audio components, so if anything that will experience problems would be onboard audio. Everything else should work fine unless it shorts out something else, probably disable onboard audio in bios and use the motherboard if you feel concerned.

Worry not sir. It’s just a top pcb mask, you haven’t damaged any traces, hence it should be absolutely fine.
Can’t see any traces there. So you’re good. See those tiny little lines between the metal bits sticking out of the MoBo? Those are called traces. If you didn’t scratch those, you’re almost certainly good. Most of a MoBo’s surface is just a glorified plank to slap all the bits and connections on.

They’ll certainly use it as an excuse to refuse warranty work in the future. Probably fine for use though.

the traces on the first layer are clearly visible, there’s clearly not one there and even if there was that scratch wouldn’t have cut it.

It will haunt you mentally for weeks, that’s good thing, for the next build it will be without scratches.

You’re fine happened to me on my last build, took it to best buy to have a IT look at it said i shouldn’t worry scrapes like this happened very commonly especially with open builds but, be careful not to scratch a receptor, so don’t worry yourself mate.
It doesn’t appear you hit any traces unless that board is doing something screwy On an under layer no it should have zero effect .

You would be surprised how many dings, scratches, holes, missing pieces, and liquid a motherboard can take before anything going wrong with it…
You could have probably knocked a coupling cap off and it would have been fine. Motherboards have always been built tough as shit (for the most part). Hell I’ve read on this sub about people throwing theirs into the ocean (many other things too) and it still worked somehow. Not to say go man handling the thing, but you’d need to be pretty rough/incompetent to fuck something up.
