IMO – in competitive CS, players screens should go black when they die and/or comms should be cut. You can hear Niko giving comms after he dies because he gets to see things a couple seconds after death. Also, no comms would really give rise to secondary IGLs in mid/late rounds if main IGL dies early.
DOTA was just the guys from Frozen throne being bothered. Boredom. It was days, though!
