I've got sort of a problem that has been lingering for months, possibly years, and now that the 9950x3d is finally on the horizon I probably going to sell my 5900x,32gb,x570-Pro ASUS mobo combo. But I really don't wanna hand it off to someone with bad memory or Vcore settings. I haven't ever actually overclocked my 5900x, but I have technically overclocked my memory enabling the XMP settings.

I don't know when it started, but essentially for awhile I've had a cold boot problem where the system won't post and then eventually posts in safe mode. Then I can boot it no problem. It's fairly inconsistent but I'd like to be able to sell the mobo combo in a good state.

After doing this I have cold booted many times with no fail safe mode POSTs, so I might be in the clear, but otherwise, does this seem okay? I essentially want this to be in a good state by the time I sell it and I'd hate to find out I did some damage long term. I can't seem to find a consistent way to either measure my voltage (and also the terminology seems to change between HWmonitor and asus so I'm not sure I'm looking at the right things). Also people seem to change what voltage tenth is the danger zone.
This turned out far longer than I thought.. Anyway, I figured overclockers would know if I'm stray into dangerous territory. Thanks for any help!

The issues you’re facing is from the fact that the EXMP profile for 2x16GB memory won’t work the same with 4x16GB, even if the modules are identical. For instance, 2x16GB may require a ProcODT setting of 36.9Ω to remain stable in a 1:1 mode in some cases.
You have a couple of options: you could sell the system with just two memory kits, or sell them and buy a 4x16GB kit (or stick to 2x16GB) if you want to use the EXMP profile without issues. Personally, I wouldn’t mind if they’re the same, and since they seem to be B-die, I’d actually prefer having more of them!
