It was anticipate back around 2010s that consoles would become more and more PC like and that by now they would have merged. That didn’t happen (obviously). But it looks like it’s back on again.

We here at r/PCMR prefer BALANCING of both visuals and performance. You literally cannot do that on the PS5 Pro. You basically have the equivalent 4k/30fps with FSR turned on performance (but without the snow effect), or you have 4k/60fps 1440p upscaled to 4k with FSR set to quality or balance.

1440p DLSS Quality has been my default for a while now.
Poor console players have to deal with some really bad FSR implementations of older versions.
