Can we as a courier driver deliver death and ruin as optional gameplay to unsuspecting settlement?

If you want to make this game like death stranding or euro truck simulator then simply riding from point A to B is not going to cut it. The traversing needs to be engaging.

Sounds actually fun if there is content in planning your paths, verticality that prevent you from crossing the entire map through canyons, climate & weather that can impact stuff you deliver, tiredness, wise penalty system for delivering too late, breeding your horse and stuffing him accordingly to the route you’ll take.
I can go on all day, contact me if you want more. I sell my ideas 5e each.

Is the framerate gonna be above 15 when released?

Awesome choice of setting.

Bold move considering like 90% of all players hate deliver missions and the rest of them dislike them as well.

Make the traversal as engaging as possible.
Make the ground, air, water, elements interact witj you as much as you can.
Do not allow freeflow combat. Lean onto satisfying stealth. Its should not turn into a slasher – it should remain – for all intents and purposes – the ultimate, medieval delivery game.
Let horses be an important aspect – and them responding to climates and environments. If you bring a lean and thin horse to a rugged mountain area, traversal would suck and eventually it will buck you out.
Put a musical instrument minigame where you can play it in quiet moments and save the songs.
I hope you’d do awesome with it. I love the idea already. Hit me up if you need any art design /writing needs.

I’m interested. But what mechanic are there except from the weather? Death Stranding outdid themselves with alot of tech and supernatural element. I can’t imagine any of that apply here.

Its crazy how indie games can look like this these days, this would been AAA 10-20 years ago.

There seem to be some negativity in the comments, do ignore them. If you are taking inspiration from games like Death Stranding, also take care to make them unique enough that you feel compelled to play it. And do give it some interesting aspects, so that players don’t fall off at the controls.
Also, you can’t expect everyone to like your game. There will always be negativity, especially with games as the ones you are trying to make. Wish you all the best with your endeavor.

I hope no one will shot an arrow in the head of the courier, burry him and let him “dead” in the middle of the desert.

Cool that you are reviving the strand-type genre.

A place said to be so safe a virgin carrying gold could walk from one end to the other. I trust there’s no fighting bandits in the game then xD

Looks interesting. Will the MC at some point achieve low rank paiza?
