Everything is scaled correctly when its small enough, you cant tell the differnce between a 720p 4.5″ display from an S5 mini and a 1080p 6″ because the pixels are small enough and dense enough but a 32″ with 720p looks different than the same Resolution with the 4.5″. I personally like the 1080p more is just too much, same with the fps you dont need more than 165FPS and thats the absolute Maximum that the human eye can physically see

I mean, if you have screen from 2010’s, then your PC is probably from the same era. Other people have a little newer setups. Tbh, even 2010 had 1080p standarized, even in laptops. after some times.

720p was the native resolution for the PS3 and Xbox360. These retro consoles came out in the mid 2000’s. Makes you feel old when you think about it.

No shit. My absolute minimum is 480p 20 FPS in-game (almost no FPS drop). Even 720p 60 FPS with huge spikes feels even more horrible compared to that. Though I’m on a very decent PC rn (can do every games at 1080p medium-high 60 FPS no prob), 720p is still something that even if I were to have Alzheimer, I would never forget. It’s like a childhood thing, ya know.

I’m definitely gonna upgrade soon, though. 1080p IPS 75hz monitors are ridiculously cheap.

My cousin has this i3 laptop. I played dead island at 720p and it was awesome.
