I’ve been PC gaming for about the past 10 years I’m 42 my buddy who is the same age as me just now wants to start getting into some PC gaming because he sees that I do it and I have fun. He doesn’t have a big budget on auction site the following PC, it’s a gamble but I think it’s worth it insight do you think this is worth up to $400?.

Supposedly it’s a shelf pull. It was on the shelf, no one bought it and they finally got it off to an auction house.

  1. Yeah that’s worth 400 assuming it’s actually lightly used.

I should have added. Alternatively I was going to ship him my old rig. I7-7700k, 16gb ram, and he was going to replace the 1080ti I had in it since I’m keeping it.

I’ve had that pc since 2018. It’s a I buy power prebuilt and has a shitty mobo (b250g)

  3. I’d give $400 for that.

Nobody ever willingly bought an RTX 3050, but you can’t really argue at this price.

That’s definitely worth it. The GPU is a bottleneck but the CPU is amazing. It can pretty much be paired with most any GPU and be great. Just keep in mind that the best CPU you’ll be able to get is an i9-14900K

If it’s in solid condition, absolutely.

  6. As long as she still runs good that’s not bad!

for 400 yes. although if they can i would suggest upgrading the CPU because it may be an I7 its still an old one

For $400 that is amazing, that being said it’s not a gaming powerhouse by any means but it should be able run at least MOST games right now at reasonable settings.
