    If you don’t trust it, fix it! It won’t take more than 10 mins to take everything off and make sure it’s firmly in a stud. Magnetic stud finders work much better than the cheap digital ones. Don’t even need to take it off the wall, just add new screws. If you’ve got two points in a stud it will be there forever.

    Wait a second. Did you *not* use a stud finder? That shelf is huge. It’s not a matter of if, but when.

    I know it sounds like a pain, but I’d redo it if I were you.
