Corny mfs really tryna compare the reception of a 9 year old game to the current cod. There were 3 zombies installments before BO3, duh people were less receptive to change.

I think cold war/bo6 has issues that are noticablely apparent. But acting like zombies fans aren’t littlery the most fickle people in the world is funny lol.

Bo3 players suggesting it was all sunshine and rainbows throughout bo3s life span aren’t much better because of actively retroactively changing history to match whatever Spefic narrative they wanna push.

You got mfs rn trying to push bo4 as well as this underrated gem that just wasn’t given a chance .

When in reality it’s influence and failings are in the situation were in rn . But it goes to show how people will defend retroactively something as it holds nostalgia or is older than the new thing . It happens in every zombies game .

If you have issues with coldwar/bo6 and voice them go ahead . But if you legit start using old comparisons to the other games and strait up make up history.

Don’t be surprised if you get called out by people that were there at the time and remember.

I think liberty falls looks like a glorified custom map before the muh glazers accusations begin .

It was happening in BO2, then 3, then 4, then…

Claims people excited for the new game think all criticism is invalid by saying the criticism of BO3 is invalid.

    Never change, CODZombies.

i mean there is cherry picking but it wasnt that uncommon a sentiment during bo3 that it had diverged from zombies too far i remember people hating gk because it had dragons saying this isnt zombies

I think a lot of the sentiment is that BO3 was regarded as mid if not bad by a majority of the community at the time of release. I remember if you said like anything positive about Zetsubou you’d be shot on sight back in the day. Now it’s this ‘underrated classic that didn’t get a chance’. I think a lot of the reasoning behind this is because BO3 was a big change in comparison to a majority of BO2. It was more complex, harder to understand, and changed the formula a decent bit. But, as time went on, it became loved by a lot of the community, if not all of it. I am a sucker for BO3, and it’s probably my favourite COD game just based on zombies alone. But I would be lying if I said there wasn’t a time people were on the fence about it. It was never always the goliath of a game (in terms of popularity) it is today. It was a change people had to adjust to, and when they did, they saw how much of a masterpiece it was.

The criticism kind of *is* invalid. Y’all will never be happy and cannot fathom the concept of developers not bending at the knee for you.

If you hate a game so much you have a Reddit burner dedicated to hating it, just don’t buy the fucking game. Is that a hard concept?

I think people who use glazing in this new way are insane, like 3-4 months ago if you said you were glazing someone/thing it meant you were painting them white

my complaints about bo3 havent changed p2w gobblegums easier gameplay and the story went in weird direction but its still miles better then every game they made after it b06 in comparison looks like a knock off
