Still have a hard copy to this day. Good lord this game was a blast. Selecting a faction really made it feel like i was fighting for something real.

Wish this game didn’t die

Such an amazing game. Wish Sony would bring it back

I love this game but they’d fuck it up trying to make it into some cod/battlefield clone. This game wouldn’t have been special if it released nowadays, in the micro transaction age

Silenced pistols and knives were handy in this game and kept you off radar. It was chaotic fun. My first paper weight I was able to sell shortly before it became worthless.

Fml. I miss this game. I loved getting OIC and just coordinating with the platoon leaders… and if people sucked, I would play Barbie Girl through my mic to literally everyone.

256 player warzone on the PS3 in 2009.

The sole reason I owned this game and still do to this day is because it was bundled with the PS3 Bluetooth Earpiece at the time for $39.99, and the earpiece on its own sold for $44.99
Went to the store looking for a mic, got a game and saved $5

I’d be 100% down to play this again

RIP-RiF
True story: was staying with a buddy of mine and his uncle was over. I was watching my buddy play Mag, his uncle was providing flavor commentary about literally everything.
Waiting in the lobby for the game to start, buddy says he needs to use the bathroom. For a laugh, he gives the controller to his uncle and says “When it starts, just kill your enemies.”
Uncle goes “Like this?” And proceeds to spawn kill his entire team as the match starts.
Instantly got him kicked before he could even run down to pee.

Amazing to see dozens of people parachuting in at once but unlike battle royale they were spawning into just a main battle area

They tried their best, then they tried again with PlanetSide 2, couldn’t make a money printer out of either of them and gave up.
