This is the beast in question. Scrap case (empty in 1st photo), r5 1600 (old but still good), b450 “pro max” board (b450 is a bit old but better than the a110 or some 110 board I was gonna get for the same price as brand new), 3200mhz 16gb ram. I got ram cpu cooler mb combo for 90€ (very good deal in my market), and also got a 2060 super for 160 (I wanted to go for a 2060, but I got this super for regular 2060 price, it’s also BEEFEY lookin), and some 480gb patriot ssd, with a new gigabyte psu (I personally use a gigabyte – no issues). 550w should be enough for this, no over clocking will be done. Also, he said he wanted to stream on it, so that’s why I got such good a gpu instead of mix on cpu and gpu. Nvenc should do well, originally I was gonna use a 1060. Well, his budget was also originally 250 :D, but the scrap psu I have didn’t work with this gpu, and I still needed a ssd (in his old pc w10 is on a hard spiny disk (painful)). His pc budget was 250, but I take 50 for my work, and so the 40€ I will pay out my pocket or just ask him to give it to me when he has some money. I mean, we’re both just 16yo without jobs :D. Don’t roast me too hard on the specs, I think I did decent. Also front io doesn’t work cause it said something about overvolting the main board..? He said he doesn’t need front io anyway.

If it works, you did good.

Wires…wires everywhere….
Cables over the CPU cooler could potentially come in contact with the fan blades one day. It also restricts the path of the hot air moving away from the fan. Not a big deal but could be a future annoyance. I mention this because it happened on my second build and started making a ton of noise for the person when he got it home. Had to route the cable around the fan to fix it
Cable management what’s that!?
Cable management!
its a decent 1080p build for most games (except maybe the absolute newest unoptimized AAA titles)
i personally got a Ryzen 5800X and RX6900XT but mostly just play rocket league and BF4, both are way too easy for the 6900XT
even if i had a 1600/2060S i could max them out
