I honestly really enjoyed it, maps were really cool especially carrier and descent, I had a lot of fun
Cyyyyyyx
it was okay, I actually like seeing other devs takes on the mode instead of forcing Treyarch on everything

Carrier is dogshit the rest of the maps are fun

Didn’t like the packapunch/upgrade system. 25 whole upgrades, and they suck individually
Trig_monkey
I really wish they would continue the story.

I’ve spent 240 days on AW, which is the best game ever produced. I feel disabled in any other game now. Advanced Warfare 2 is worth the wait.
Normbot13
it’s the worst non-treyarch zombies mode by a relatively wide margin. that being said, personally i’d rather play exo zombies than ever boot up cold war again.

The special infected kinda brought down a lot of the best ideas exo had to offer, having zombies that specialize in shutting down your movement abilities is a good idea but making them fuck up ur vision and movement speed and all the other annoying shit I won’t list? It gets very annoying getting shocked every 3 seconds past round 15

1000% loved it. Characters, story from campaign- multiplayer-survival and then into zombies was a perfect bleeding into one another and guns were pretty interesting and fun for a futuristic tale on them. AW2 (if it ever comes) would be a good sequel if they continue to design it with as much lore and story driven gameplay. Js

A fun mode bogged down by a bunch of anti gun bullshit. EMZs nearly ruin the game mode in high rounds. This mode was fun but the devs just seemed to hate the players with some of the additions

There are a few glaring problems in AW. If they were resolved, the game would instantly be significantly better.
Map objectives are a mixed bag. They can add some story flair to the maps, but… Outbreak, that map is free of them. Infection has the God-awful survivor rescues and manticore bombs, I hate that mechanic more than anything else in Zs history. Carrier has the bomb defusal, it’s tolerable if you can get the humans down before Zombies spawn too aggressively but if you have bad timing, it can end your run. And Descent, the boss fight is cool, but it being forced really takes you out of the game.
The multi-stage packing is just too much for too little. I’d have each pack increase your gun level by 4 for a slightly higher price if I reprogrammed the game.
Lastly, the Exo zombies really should not have a leap ability. They complicate basic survival a lot because AW Zombies demands you take advantage of Exo movement to do well, only for it to be shut off for a third of the round once you’re past 20.
Change these things, and I think the game would actually be pretty great. It was ambitious and tried something new, and a lot of that still shines even through the aforementioned muck.

Top 5 for sure. My second favorite after iw zombies

I enjoyed my time with it back when I played it on the PS3. I did like how they were willing to experiment more with zombies in terms of the movement. I just felt like it needed more quality-of-life stuff, like the pack a punch not taking 20 times to get a gun up to full strength.

I really disliked everything to do with exo suits. Especially the zombies. The zombies mode felt like a thrown together attempt at round based CoD zombies. Plus the map was kinda meh. Not a fan at all and probably my least favorite zombie modes.

This was the game that got me into zombies. If I’m going to be real with you all, even today, this is one of the few games that I feel genuine happiness playing, along with the likes of persona 5 royal or fire emblem 3 houses. To me, this game will always be held to my highest standard when it comes to cod zombies, along with ww2 and cold war( and maybe bo2 if all my friends are on)

It was a very different experience but i kinda liked it. Just wished they had swapped exo soldier for an exo suit variant of Double tap.

Genuinely pretty fun and unique, definitely had its issues and it’s nowhere near my favourite but it’s pretty enjoyable to hop on it every once in a while
MyNameIsRabbitMan
I remember playing it as a kid and thought it was fun
HeMan077
The pack a punch system, enemy spam, EMZs, only one pretty good map, underpowered wonder weapons, terrible story and the fact the mode is locked behind DLC (minus Riot but that barely counts and you have to slog your way through hours upon hours of exo survival) keep this mode from being anything but my least favorite zombies mode in the entire series. It’s the only mode I flat out dislike

Trailer was fire, but the constant exo suit disabling, infection zones, etc made is a bad experience. The maps were all just big facilities in different locations, not very inspired.
ThaShiveGeek
My favorite zombies personally! The first map is my only solo Easter egg lol.
