Ok ima say something controversial. The 4060 isn’t a bad card as a mater of fact its good at what it was supposed to do and that is to give 1080ti performance while sipping power. I would 100% recommend it to a kid building their first computer who doesn’t want their parents to get angry at how much it cost or how much it’s effecting the electric bill. Is it the best card out there? Not by a long shot but I feel like people are just looking at the raw performance and calling it good or bad by that alone.

I have a white RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, I didn’t particularly want white but it was the cheapest option. It was also the cheapest Nvidia card with 16GB vram and I didn’t have the budget for anything higher.
Everyone keeps shitting on this card but it was literally the cheapest option for me!
I’m actually very happy with the card coming from a 750 Ti its a major upgrade, I can play games on high settings now and everything runs smoothly (not a big gamer).
But now I can also use stable diffusion which was the most important to me, tried it out yesterday and it only took a couple seconds to generate an image. Still have to learn a lot about that but I wanted it for hobby purposes like for example I hope to make cute stickers for myself or for my friends and now I don’t have to worry about running out of credits/tokens.

4060 isn’t bad, but the fact it’s white might make it stop working.
Not because of the hardware, but because I will personally drive a screwdriver through it if your build isn’t meant to have a white gpu. (However, if you successfully have an all white build, I am truly jealous of you.)
