Would you chrome tf up? Try being a merc or a netrunner? Would you join a gang? Try being a Corpo, or have an ordinary job? Or would you immediately leave Night City and try joining a nomad clan?
Personally I would just do a couple easy gigs, get just a bit of chrome then leave Night City to become a nomad

Refuse the Relic heist gig, shoot Dexter DeShawn in the face, and hightail it out of Night City as fast as I can.
Street kid. Let Pepe handle his own debt, and follow the NCPD scanners.
I would:
* live happily in the technologically advanced utopia and bow at the feet of my capitalist overlords.
I would not:
* finish what Johnny Silverhand started.
If everything I know will happen exactly like the game if I follow the “script”, I’ll take the exact same paths as the game and do the Don’t Fear the Reaper ending, because I want to feel in my skin how being a sentient schizophrenic badass merc looks like. Real life is already boring, don’t want to make it boring in another universe

presuming I have starting V skills/knowledge:
I’m fucked, in true cyberpunk fashion.
* I can’t leave Jackie to die. He’s a decent person, and more importantly, his death impacts a bunch of people that just don’t deserve that kinda hurt.
* Ev’s kind of a cunt, but Judy didn’t deserve the way their relationship ended, much less Ev’s end.
* River’s a cop and a gonk, but he actually cares about people. Someone’s gotta save those kids, and River just gets killed if you leave him to try on his own.
* I’m not sure the Aldecados last without V’s presence; even if Saul doesn’t get captured, I don’t think the vets would’ve grouped up for the basilisk heist without V stirring the pot.
* Mikoshi’s a problem too.
So, I’ve gotta stay, try and make it work. Netrunner would help cover the suspicious levels of foreknowledge.
I’d *definitely* make sure the Heist has:
* A backup plan if Yorinobu returns
* A plan for Arasaka trying to reclaim the relic before it’s klepted
* Someone to actually make sure Ev’s got the credits (preeeetty sure she doesn’t.)
Definitely gonna bite it in the end, though. Major Leagues.
Definitely either going street kid or corpo but I think I’d take the heist still with Jackie but make sure we’re long before any patricides take place but instead of giving the relic to Evelyn so she can give it to the asshole vodoo boys I’d slot it in considering the engram should not try and rewrite my consciousness since I’m not dead or almost dead. Then I’d probably go on an adventure with my boys Jackie and Johnny.
Meet all of our friends and earn their trust again and then finally when all is said and done I’d take down those bastards at Arasaka don’t fear the reaper style, let Jackie get his happy ending with misty and maybe if I’m lucky find Johnny a brand new body or hopefully a copy of his old one in arasaka and I’d shoot the hell of that asshole dex. There might not be any happy endings for anyone in night city but dammit I’ll make one in my run through.

I will live my life as a corpo in Arasaka and rise up the ranks.

Never do the heist, live happily ever after with Jackie. With V’s skills and street cred, her and Jack could retire at 25 and be set for life.
Go the same path the Corpo up until the heist.
