Given that his body is canonically kept in a hidden cryochamber in the original role-playing game, what if this original version of Johnny is resurrected due to cryogenics, or perhaps another copy of him (not the one from 2077) is featured? This would mean introducing a different Johnny than the one we know by the end of the game, lacking the character development he undergoes

Dude I hope so
If Keanu wants to come back would be cool
Maybe
would be cool to see a cyberpunk game set around the time he was alive
Anything is possible. We’re told the relic was removed in certain endings. Never told what happened to it afterward. Highly doubt it was destroyed.
I hope neither Johnny nor V are in the next game except for bits of lore referencing them. Both their stories reached their natural end in CP2077, regardless of the end you adopt as headcanon.
If Alt and the Blackwall AI’s are the focus of the next game then yes definitely we’re gonna see him again.
I’m not opposed to hopping backwards in the timeline before the Data Krash.
A prequel that ends in the nuke
I want Samurai music and references to Johnny but no actual Johnny.
Same with V, mention the unstoppable Solo that vanished six months after breaking into the big time, don’t say they died, just that they haven’t been seen in Night City in X years. Maybe even have rumors floating around The Afterlife about sightings in Arizona, or on the Crystal Palace at one point.
Dude I hope not. V and Johnny are great characters, but CDPR are great at making stuff up—I’d rather they make something new.
Nah, I think the relic thing is played out as a main story thing, but if they have some side quests or Easter eggs that involve the relic or mention V and Johnny, I’d be happy
No reason to rehash the game, new story new characters maybe passing references or some thing like cameos but nothing more
why would we?
As much as I really enjoyed 2077, and V as well as Johnny, I’m hoping for a fresh new start. Make it so V is a legend, and is well known all across the NUSA and beyond. And Johnny as well, both forever etched into street legend and popular culture as those who tore down Arasaka and more. And this even if the next game is only just a year or two after 2077.
