Net running but itself is incredibly boring. You need to synergize it with aggressive stealth or smart guns to have a fun time imo.

At the start it is a neat trickbox for additional things such as blinding an enemy in a fire fight or turning off cameras or switching at them to mark all enemies, but later on when you get extremely powerful you just click and kill. It is not that much fun.
Sandevistan is a lot more fun.

I use AoE contagion and the Shingen to explode enemies, make them cyberpsycho, hack through cameras to kill enemies, and constantly crash cars on the road/drive them into enemies

Try an aggressive smart gun, mono wire, hacking build. Also utilize recon grenades as they speed up your lock on with smart guns. You can take on like 20+ people in a matter of seconds.

I only really use having to take out cameras and to contagion-splode groups. Otherwise I use pistol and punknife.

Netrunning is more challenging AFTER 2.0 for me there’s nothing more fun than hacking their cameras then applying something like overheat along with contagion. Or calling for backup on some poor guy and then detonating his grenades when all his Chooms arrive. Then just following up with katana or pistol once you restart their systems or jam their weapons while they are confused as hell trying desperately to find my location.

Net running is the most fun for me. Sandevistan builds are far more limited. There are basically no limitations as to how you can play with a Net running build. Not to mention that it is by a long mile the most powerful build early to mid game

Been doing a Netrunner build on my latest play. A VDB Netrunner started hacking me, so I hacked them back with Suicide. All of her friends in a 12 meter radius, including her, killed themselves in unison. It was glorious.
I tried doing a stealth netrunner build but it always boiled down to me taking out a couple guys and then being forced to use my smart weapons since you always get tracked down.
Since it ended up being a hack + smart weapons build, which wasn’t what I wanted, I put that run on pause and started a new throwing knife stealth run which I am having a lot of fun with.
