Could someone give me advice which gun I should choose? There’s also variants etc. What does that all mean? Should I even spend my reserve crates on the weapon bribes (price is 50 reserve crates) or should I just buy non-duplicate crates?

i say non duplicates, me personally i dont use any of the dlcs unless its mk 2 guns
Get the gun not creates, see if your fav gun has a master craft variant then get it , else get the base variant like VMP it dsnt have any MK2 or master craft.
