It’s been a challenging but incredibly fulfilling journey so far to bring this idea to life on my own! (I’m a developer, but I had to learn modeling, animating, making music, and all the aspects of game development)
My dream is to continue doing this full-time and to bring joy to players with unique experiences while respecting their free time (I prefer to offer unique, shorter experiences, rather than an endless series of repetitive tasks)
I hope you’ll check it out, and I’d love to hear your thoughts!
If you have any questions about my situation or the development process, feel free to ask.
A demo will be available soon, so if you like it, be sure to add it to your wishlist to get notified when it’s ready.

It looks like a more hands on “untitled goose game” I’d play the hell out of it.

I was an employee at a AAA game studio until earlier this year when I was impacted by the massive waves of layoffs in the industry.
It was a shock, and as I asked myself, “What do I do now?” and looked at the job market, I continued working on my hobby game project.
Eventually, I decided to take this as an opportunity to **embark on the indie adventure**! (Maybe it was the kick in the butt that I needed?)
Today, I’m proud to present [Goeland](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3122960/Goeland_Demo?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=Gaming), a game (still in development) where you play as a mischievous seagull in a **small sandboxy open world**, interacting with characters and environment to solve enigmas, achieve quirky goals or take on self-imposed challenges.
