
Hey all, recently acquired some B-die from a member on this sub works great, but I can't seem to beat 3600mhz/1800fclock without errors.
Even at 3666 I'm getting errors with 1.5v. 3600 tests fine with tm5 anta777 extreme overnight.
Previous own ran 3800/1900 but at 1.55v however my b450m aorus caps at 1.5v.
Any and all advice welcome. Thanks!

Start with tweaking the voltages. VSOC is alarmingly high (it alarms me at least, since there is 0 chance it is neccesary).
So start with something like:
VSOC – 1.125V
VDDG IOD – 1.05V
VDDG CCD – 0.9 – 1V
VDDP CLDO – 0.9 – 1V
If you want to test freq set primaries to 16-16-16 (these should work at 3800 with 1.5V but feel free to set them even looser, like 16-18-18) and leave EVERYTHING ELSE at auto (timings wise)
Disable powerdown mode, disable spread spectrum.
Currently your timings are all over the place, watch a bit of buildzoid or preferably read through the memtesthelper DDR4 OC guide on github.
If I forgot something someone correct me.
If you can’t get over 3600 (tough luck with the memory controller quality) just stay at that speed and tighten the timings. And NOT JUST the primaries (this is where I insist again really read the github guide, can’t recommend it enough)
Edit: termination resistances (and drive strenghts) should be locked in once your mobo finds the right settings, usually what it sets over 3200 speeds works all the way up (at least to 3800 in my experience). But you can play a bit with procODT.
And keep in mind you want to minimize the voltages, the ones I recommended are around ‘safe’ limits but on the high side as per most of reddit. Should be enough for you to at least post. Also give it a bit to train, it not booting immediately doesn’t necesarrily mean it won’t after a couple of attempts.

You will want to loosen the timing when increasing the frequency, so that you can see how high you can run it. From my experience and others I’ve seen, 3600 CL14 shouldn’t take 1.5V Vdimm to run. I got away with 1.44V on my B die kit for flat 14s, and I’m at 4000 “CL15” and at 1.485V. If that’s what it takes to stabilize 3600 then I don’t know how much headroom you have left. You might be able to run looser primaries at a higher frequency though. But the rest of your timings could use some tuning too, as tRFC could drop down a lot more… especially for 1.5V.
