I doubt that there would be any good releases in the future. Armoured Core 6 was the last game I bought on day one, and it still felt as a risk(cuz a friend that recommended everything said it as good) and gosh darn it it was the purest gaming experience I’ve had in years.
Consoles went to shit with cross play(cheaters play along in multi with console), console exclusives are ported to PC and I saw the writing on the wall and built myself a thing of beauty. Consoles also still don’t provide the promised performance. And the last good game that I can say were 10/10 God of War Ragnarok, that soon is to come to PC… Brother if you’re reading this and you liked the first one IT IS WORTH THE PRE ORDER…. I know it’s heresy(and I was team XBOX) but the game is awesome.
All the rest are absolute shit most of all BF2042, Ubisoft can’t make a decent launcher let alone a game… f accountants

To be fair, the reviews don’t seem that bad. I’m seeing scores ranging from 6/10 to 8/10 from sources like Gamespot, Metacritic, Gameranx, and IGN. In my eyes, that’s pretty reasonable—after all, not every game can be a 10/10 masterpiece. When I score games, anything between a 6 and 8/10 is good to very good. Of course, everyone has their own subjective opinion, which is totally fine, but at first glance, it doesn’t seem to be the dumpster fire some people thought it would be.

ubisoft has been great for me purely because they love to put their games on mega sale relatively fast compared to other companies. Can absolutely get 10-12$ of fun out of their games, and then every once in a while they put something out I really enjoy like AC odyssey

Got this on Ubi+ because I wanted to try it for $18. Great deal.
The game isn’t terrible, but it’s not this great piece of gaming on release (early release for that matter).
PC players have to dumb down the graphics so much just to get stable 60fps. Almost bringing this back to 2010 sadly. (4070 super with Ryzen 9)
Want to see more when patches start rolling out before any real judgments can be made.
