This quest was a completely vibe/immersion killer for me. If I wanted to play a survival horror game I would have launched a survival horror, not an action RPG. Is nice to have surprises, but a sudden change of the genre of the game, right at the end of a major plot, is not the way to do it.
For my luck I’ve sided with songbird in my first PL playthrough and went unaware of this level, otherwise would drop completely my enjoyment of the expansion.
I don’t remember this at all.
