tldr : some people were doing ridiculous damage numbers in trivial leveling content. this was nerfed so that you do less, but still ridiculous damage numbers in trivial leveling content.

Thankfully Space Marine 2 is 2 weeks away and I’ll forget about this disappointment

Leveling will now require an extra hour or 2. You will also have to press more buttons. What will happen next?!

Can’t wait for WoW2 rebuilt on Unreal5
ApexMM
So it’s been like 8 years now since blizzard released a good game, right?

I was in EA. Shit was ridiculous. Now it’s still ridiculous but you actually have to push buttons for at best 30 seconds more.
Touch grass fatties.

No hate here, but legit question.
I quit playing when the end game became
A: make it a second job
B: Do raid finder until you were geared enough to join a guild that would make it your second job
C: Do raid finder and be happy with nerfed versions of BiS gear.
If I wanted to get back into the game, and spend around 10 hours/week playing, would the new expansion feel worthwhile without making me feel guilty that I don’t have the time to kill a raid boss before they get nerfed?
Signed < Hand of A‘ Dal > < Of The Black Harvest >, < Challenger > < Merciless Gladiator > and a few more that I‘m probably forgetting.

It was insane on launch. I one shot mobs with auto attacks for the first five levels, and then two shot them after 75.
Kinda got lucky with early access, already got main and 2 alts to max

Wow players often act like they’ve been personally victimized by the game developers…like, it’s a fucking video game, either play it or don’t.

It’s a little unfortunate because The War Within has generally been fantastic at the start.
But I also think the criticism of Blizzard here is fair. It is not acceptable to charge $40 extra (nearly double) for early access, and then increase the difficulty right when the game opens up to people that didn’t fork over the extra cash.
The changes themselves are fine. But there was a beta. They needed to be implemented before early access. Period.

Abuse early when it comes to blizzard
-haha-oh-wow-
Man it’s insane how long this game has been out. I haven’t played past Wrath of the Lich King, I kind of wonder what it’s even like now.

Anyone find it kinda funny that they convinced players to not only QA the game for them but pay them extra to do so?

This is going to be the industry standard for live service games going forward.
Early access you get to be incredibly op, and they’ll go “opsie! It was a bug or balance issue that we just didn’t catch!”
And then they nerf it for general launch.
More inventive to pay extra to play early.

Honestly, it makes the first 4 hours of the game take 5 hours.
It’s not really a big deal.
I can see the frustration, but they didn’t have the data from beta so they got it from the early access players.
