4080 aero started artifacting 2nd one to do this so I took it back under the protection plan and the prices dropped so much was able to upgrade and get $152 back in store credit scored me a spare keyboard and some drink with 14 left over lol

I had a similar experience at microcenter.
Bought a microcenter Inland SSD for 399.99 (no extra warranty) and I wrote the drive over about a hundred times in game installs/uninstalls.
The model crapped out one day and was dead. Microcenter swaps out Inland products themselves (warranties are handled by them), and the new model was 119.99. I got the difference back and bought more stuff.
