Well this was a perfect opportunity to make a game that would fill the void left behind the self destruction of Overwatch, but I guess they failed despite the formula being in front of them. Also i REALLY don’t care if the game is woke, bring on the neon hair and purple lipstick, I just want it to play well.

I don’t know why we can’t get a hero shooter that’s as filled with as much life as Team Fortress 2. They really fleshed out the characters there with the whole Meet the Team series and Expiration Date short, not to mention the tons of voice lines included that were just hilarious. Maybe some of the life put into the characters also has to do with the massive SFM and Gmod animation community, I dunno.
Before anyone says it, no I’ve never played Overwatch and I don’t intend to after how shafted Overwatch 2 was.

I think the anti-woke gooner crowd is cringe, but you can’t say that the characters look appealing or cool at all. Having the characters look cool is pretty important for a hero shooter
