Replaying this old gem. The game was a 10 in level design.

Ah, reliving the nostalgia! The level design truly shines like a diamond in this gem of a game. It’s like navigating a maze of brilliance.

I had a demo disk with this game in it. Had so much fun and getting beat up by every enemy I was facing

  3. well its name is forgotten realm.. i forgot about it completely until today

when I played this back then I didn’t knew it was a DnD game took me about 20 years to know that

My friend gave me this game years ago and a bit less years ago i wanted to replay it and couldn’t remember the title but i remember it was Demon something and thus came to Demon’s souls thinking maybe that’s it. I got my ass kicked so hard that i didn’t go back to a souls game until Bloodborne came out.

The game appears to have had 3 different box cover arts.

Shame about the bug that meant I couldn’t finish the game. Bloody trolls.

I’ve been trying to remember what the fucking game title was for like over 8 years now and audibly yelled when i recognized what this was, thanks for the indirect help my dude, super happy with the gog version

Yeah, it’s a cool game. I also loved that it allowed you to play as Drizzt, though it was only for one level.

Never heard of it. I love great level design.

This one had Sir Patrick Stewart voice Khelbin Blackstaff Arunsun (NOT Elminster as I previously thought).

I loved the ability to switch between the three characters in the game.

The soundtrack goes way too hard for this game.
Felt like I was playing BG3 years prior to its release, not lowkey clone of The Two Towers.

looks dope, wish they have this on steam

I’ve never played it and everyone here is drooling over its level design but no one says anything about it. What’s so special about its level design?

  16. Ghostpass

You know when the “O” has a cross in it, it’s going to be some deep rpg.

  17. MemoryDemise

Oh shit, i loved this one back in the day

  18. Bronson-101

Very different cover than what I played but it was a fun game to run through.

Also pretty sure Patrick Stewart played Blackstaff

I tried this game, got to the part where you had to fight things on a raft and gave up. It felt really bugged

  20. Zerus_heroes

I have never seen this cover for the game

  21. Undercurrent32

Oh yeah I had a demo for that in some Playstation magazine where you fight yuan ti on a circular platform during a ritual and can Sparta them into the hole.

This game brings back memories, shame it never had a followup.

Wish we had more DnD ARPGs, Dark Alliance is the only other one I can think of

Does anyone remember a game on the ps2 that you play as a girl and you find a dragon you can fly on? I have such a vague memory of this game but no clue what it was called.

  24. EndsLikeShakespeare

I love this game! My cover is very different tho. If I remember it’s white with red characters/silhouettes

  25. It’s giving me light baldurs gate dark alliance vibes.

  26. Hughj4zzz

You ever play onimusha? Don’t know why but the artwork reminded me of it

  27. ROB_IN_MN

As a big D&D nerd, I’m surprised I’ve never heard of this game.

It’s available on gog for PC too.
