I had BO3 on disc since launch, made memories on it with friends from my old town, but I eventually moved. In the middle of a depression the second semester of freshman year at college, I was like fuck it let me buy the chronicles edition and gameshare it to my friend from my new town so we can go through all the Easter eggs.
My friend was a town tranzit type zombie fan, never played any other map besides that and maybe kino. In fact, once when playing BO2 he yelled at me for putting it on normal because “everyone plays on easy”. Wasn’t sure how this purchase was gonna go and if he’d even be down
Last summer, We “beat” the giant first, he was like “this shit seems simple”, and then onto Der Eisendrache, probably took us a week or two as we were busy and died numerous times in the boss, or prior. Zestabou lowkey beat on the first real try.
GOROD HOWEVER. We died a solid 3 times on the bomb step until we finally split the bombs 3 each, took us like a month to beat, we idle eyed Nikolai and my friend now swears it’s an elite gobble gum. When we went back to college we couldn’t run it, so we had to wait till next summer to finally play shadows and rev
Shadows we 100% beat first try, we got two randoms to play with us and they were insane, I also know shadows and will never forget it so that helped
Which leads us to today, we picked up our other friend who only owns Revelations to help us with the Arnie step. After 3 tries earlier this summer(two deaths, one give up due to tiredness), I randomly decided at work today to call and ask if they’d run it tonight. After reluctantly agreeing as one has a flight in the morning and my boy I’ve done all the EE’s with being tired, we still manage to crank this shit out. Fighting through numerous downs from my friend, me struggling to see the Blue rocks in the sky (NoahJ you will never be cancelled), and me failing to remember the symbols on the mini boss, we after 3-4 hours completed a demon that haunted me 9 years, and my friend and I’s past 2 summers
Sorry for the yap Ik yall ain’t reading all that, but man it feels good to finally accomplish a goal of my gaming career even if it was 9 years after with a whole new group of friends
And bro the peacekeeper was a two shot head shot lowkey on round 16 so I rocked with it, then when I packed it things just went downhill drastically
