I think tranzit especially was unfair due to console constraints, and die rise could be good with small changes like PHD and maybe putting buildings closer together (or even just scripted momentum) for easier jumps.

They’ve had teasers tranzit in both bo4 and cold war so maybe bo6 will finally be the game

Tranzit was overall mid in my opinion. Not a good or bad map. The only real flaws it has are the pack a punch system and the jet gun. Die rise is a good map though.

We’ll see with the current DLC model if we will get straight master at all in a Treyarch main game. Worked with BO3 Chronicles and BO1’s Resurrection DLC because they could sell the packs. The current model means we get all playable content for free and that might lead to them just focusing on the once a season map drop.

If they ever did a BO2 remake similar to MWIII (2023) with all the MW2 maps I could see the zombies maps being remakes potentially.

If they are smart they will bring them back along with other smaller cut off portioned survival maps of other released maps

Buried doesn’t need a remake, Tranzit and Die Rise were hated, so I doubt they’ll get one. Victis was trapped in the dark aether after Tag, with a wrapped up story. So I don’t foresee them bringing remakes back, especially with how controversial aether remakes were in bo4.

Nothing stops custom map makers from remaking those maps. That’s a way to play any remakes, if people make them.

Only way is if next years cod is a sort of expansion/sequel hybrid like MW3 where they initially ride heavy on nostalgia and remakes due to limited dev time. They don’t really have a way to fit in the story anymore though, unless they made them all take place in the dark aether or something.
