Hopefully they won’t be as barren and shallow as FF16 too

While I enjoyed FF7R more, FF16 was pretty fun. It’s way more action oriented than the previous games, but the story is still engaging and the cutscenes are amazing.

Wow, this is epic news! As a PC gamer, I can’t wait to dive into the next Final Fantasy adventure right from day one. No more waiting for ports or remasters – straight into the action! Let’s hope for optimized gameplay and minimal bugs.

They would be smart to release Rebirth on PC right before the Game Awards, considering it’s definitely gonna win a couple awards.

I feel like the magic is gone with this series. I haven’t enjoyed final fantasy since 12. I’m glad if other people can enjoy them, I’ll probably give 7 remake a shot.

Similar to resident evil the devs idealized combat with modern tech is just missing something. I really enjoyed how slow those games could be in pacing and combat.

for me only metal gear got better with improved tech.

They finally realize that catering to one console as a 3rd party company isn’t very profitable.

Wow did some old fart exec at square that’s never touched a computer die or something. Can’t believe I’m seeing the day.

Finally realizing this shit a staggering 13 years after Capcom did.

As a PS player I hope so. With stronger sales numbers it will be easier to keep pumping them out.

Still waiting on FF7 Rebirth on PC my dude, I’m not buying a PS5 to play one game. I already made that mistake when Remake was announced.

Will they be porting all of them?

I still haven’t bought a PS5. I will wait. Sony can take a long hard pull on my unit.

I’m just sad their games went all action RPG. I understand the broader appeal, and I am a lone voice wanting a nostalgic experience – but still I love good storytelling and setting up my attacks to watch them unfold.
