If you mainly game, only two CPUs exist: 5800X3D (and it’s downbinned “variants”, 5600X3D and 5700X3D) and 7800X3D.
They are OK for productivity, but only really great CPUs if you game ~70%+ of the time you use respective PC.
It’s only worth to buy any other CPU if you do other demanding things (photoshop, CAD, compiling, etc.), other than gaming, most of the time (or at least half the time) with the PC in question.
footforhand
Half the price of it’s competitior while its competitor ruins PCs? Yeah, I’ll take the 7800 lmao

I get this when it comes to things that don’t matter, but this is a physical thing, a thing that matters and it’s the best for the price and even compared to CPUs that are more expensive.
Of course people will go for the best gaming CPU out there rn

I’m just normal guy who don’t understand pcs, I got a question.
Why’s 5800x3d almost same price as 7800x3d? Is this my local market scamming or the difference is negligible? It’s like 40$ difference.

and AMD people laughing at the intel.
Until….AMD will also announce their chip have issue and it is even worse than intel, then 90% of the gamer community will start crying and saying Intel is better.
Remember…. we didn’t know about intel issue until couple month recently…which mark o over 1.5 years or close to 2.
