Saw the astronaut with this name, which I’ve never seen before, and not sure if it’s like a developer Easter egg or something, only thing I found was an old bo1 moon clip with that same name for the astronaut, anyone know anything about it?

Not sure. I searched the name on Google and the first thing that came up was the Astronaut Zombie page on the COD wiki, but it wouldn’t give me a list of names sadly. I was hoping to find if it’s a reference to something, but I guess it won’t tell me.
Probably a reference to either the Treyarch staff or a famous person, but realistically I’m not sure.

J. Blundell. No but seriously, if you play solo you’ll get a name from one of the devs. If you play coop I’m pretty sure you’ll get one of your friends name as the astronaut. As for Admiral Athena, I think I saw this name in bo1 solo, but I can’t confirm
There’s set list of names if ur offline or it yoinks a friends name if ur online
