Maybe it’s not about free time, but reflex that slowly turns shit with age.

Gonna throw this out there,When the adults who were kids in the meme were kids the adults indeed had better PC’s and now some of those adults make sure their kids indeed have better PC’s than some of their fellow adults and also consoles are stupid good at what they do and cross play exists and you know aim assist.

  3. Of course I lost. I suck at playing games -me

  4. I dominated as a teen with my shit hardware and dial up Internet. Once I had a real 9-5 job, a girlfriend, an apartment, I wasn’t able to commit as much time to games. Now I just lack my teenage reflexes and spare time.

I’m still an okay player, probably above average when it comes to accuracy and speed, but nowhere near as good as I was when I was young, and I have none of the time to study maps and pickup meta like I did when I was a teen playing Counter Strike and TFC for 40+ hours a week.

  5. No matter your specs, it is foretold that you will “Get Rekt Skrub” by a 7-year-old playing on a wombat-based internet connection.

I’ve come to accept that despite the hundreds of hours I spend gaming, I’m just bad at gaming.

It’s fine, I still have fun, I don’t need to huff copium anymore.

  7. offensiveDick

Like I told my guildmates in wow

    Ofc I lost I’m shit

  9. Desperate-Intern

Well, I rarely play multiplayer games.. so for me, as an adult.. it’s just time. Wish had more time as I had when I was a kid.

  10. Halatope

    Gaming as Eldery:
Of course i lost, im playing against people with average PCs!

  11. ZZHIFTY00

I can finally say that I now can relate to this now
    ….sad 🙁

Playing as an adult is better, I value this time more and am more calm, so I really play the game instead of fighting on chat with haters.

I‘m very self-reflected in this regard. I just know I have always been and still am an awful gamer. A little bit pathetic given it has been my only real hobby since I‘m 8 and I‘m 33 now – one would expect some sort of learning curve. But it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️
Gave up competitive gaming completely and I‘m only playing solo or coop now. Enjoying the hell out of it.

  14. Altruistic_Alienware

In between; Of course I lost, the game is trash.

  15. Consistent-Resolve56

  16. HabenochWurstimAuto

I remember my first Half Life LAN party, i had 140ping because the PC was so bad haha

  17. Zyphonix_

I never thought either of those.

But I realized as an adult how shit my setup was when I was a kid.

  18. LazyLancer

Meanwhile a 20 y.o dude with a dope PC: lol gg easy

  19. tavirabon

Me, having played on console as a kid before crossplay existed and on a high-end PC as an adult with no children:

  20. roydoesthings

There were no adults when I was gaming. I was just bad.

  21. Unless you are either running the game with 15 FPS or being elderly, everything else is an excuse.

Don’t misunderstand me there is nothing wrong with being bad at a videogame but those who truly want to be good, they get good.

  22. Of course I lost, I’m not willing to pay 3 times what the base game cost to win

  23. Howfuckingsad

Always the rich snobs and trust-fund babies with the NASA computer shitting on us normal people.

  24. Jhon_doe_smokes

Yeah I just have fun I don’t even take it to serious anymore.

  25. blamcomacnchee

I have a 4080 super and only work weekends.

  26. riba2233

How original, I totally haven’t seen this one 100 times already…

  27. Ok-disaster2022

Even as a kid, I knew I was just bad, and didn’t want to invest the time to git gud on one game when there were other games to play. FPS controls didn’t click for me until college.
