Operations Coordinator here…. 24 hours a day on call , 20 hour days sometimes only to go home to my basement battle station and continue through the night … 8 days of hell then 6 off…
Any suggestions for improving my jail cell before I add a noose? I share the space/desk with my counterpart on the opposite schedule.
Recent improvement was the 75" tv , highly recommend must have for anyone in equipment/crew management or logistics lol
…Jobs not that bad I can pretty much set my own hours and weekends can sometimes be remote work…

Assuming you have to MFA your way through the world too. I recommend a stand-up wireless charger/phone stand.
Sir thats your work PC not a battlestation
That beige depresses me
How do you go 8 days without sleeping?
I would get a different desk, this one somehow gives me anxiety
Ah so that’s what , Not dark mode, looks like.
i’m so glad i work from home.
But this seems to be a nice work setup.
I can smell this room and I fucking hate it
No
The worst part is the floor
Salesforce admin/dev here. I deliver hell to people, I suppose?
I’d probably start with lightning – it seems like that big overhead light causes glare.
Backlight for the monitors, some other source of diffused light on the desk
And as you spend long hours at the desk do a critical check for ergonomy. Prolonged discomfort translates surprisingly fast to long term heath problems
So- comfortable chair designed for computer work, wrist rests, monitors at the right eye level height
I don’t know how you use the large TV screen, but the angle does not look comfortable from behind the desk in seated position
Just looking at this picture has given me a migraine and raised my blood pressure 20 points.
I also feel a sudden urge to send a tersely worded email.
That’s excell! With two L’s!
very similar to mine, also dual monitors and dell laptop. I think its Latitude 3440 or something similar. 13th gen i7 and thunderbolt 4.
This look like a regular office desk to me. With charging cables and everything . And there is a tv on the wall
No one needs this much reddit in their life.
