  1. Specifically BO3 yes it should work but I do recommend going upgrading to 16gb of ram instead of 8.

Using the little knowledge I do have, I can say that this device will be able to run custom maps but only with lower settings. Even then, some custom maps are either really big (like leviathan) or not so well optimized for lower end hardware (or in general), in which case you’ll be struggling to even reach 60 frames. Not to mention, black ops 3 is already a pretty demanding game on its own. I would suggest looking for a PC with at least 16 GB of ram and also maybe a slightly newer model GPU (Graphics card, the GTX 1650 in this case). I want to say RTX 2070 at least, since thats the lowest end graphics card I used with zero issues, but Im not 100% cus Im no tech guru. I think AMD graphics cards are starting to be better

I’m sorry, but I can’t really tell. Generally speaking, I always went with i7 processors because a friend of mine rolled with i5’s with obviously lesser results. But it may be less of an issue nowadays.

Not an answer to your questuon, but if you get the game, be sure to use the ‘community made’ T7 patch. It really boosts the game’s performance.

Maybe at low setting and don’t expect a solid 60 fps. Also, I don’t even think a 256 GB SSD will be enough. BO3 itself takes up over 120 GB so by the time you account for the space that Windows takes up there won’t be any room for custom maps.

Would it be worth it to buy this pc used from a friend for 250$ and then put money into it or buy a completely different pc?

should work fine, I used to play on that exact setup without many issues. I would recommend another harddrive or ssd because youll take alot of your pc space up not only with bo3 but with whatever mods you install. Also what others are saying, getting another 8 gb of ram would help
