Now, while i “work” for a “super villan” ive got dental now. It never made sense to me to work in such dangerous circumstances but after 8 years of construction, I’ve got real benefits now And all i have to do is pretend this short guys accent isn’t the worst thing you’ve ever heard and avoid being near windows or vents on anywhere with a clear site line of a rooftop so i dont get popped first its easy money.

In reality it would be like living in South London or the outside awful Because that’s all you ever see, But live the long enough keep to yourself and it’s fairly all right In Fact you rarely See that bad shit in person Because it’s just so big, And there are so many people Even if we made Gotham 10x worse The average Joe might get robbed here in there, But long time, none of the affiliated locals, no problem Not to mention the Super villain crime would be rare It would mostly be gangs, stabbings robberies With normal people who you could put up a decent fight against.
And if you’re one of the unfortunate cunts Caught up in super Villain shit Depending on the iteration, the gcpd pretty decent And there’s batman, nightwing, Robin, red robin, red hood, bat girl, batwoman, orphan, huntress, azrial, signal, spoiler, batwing and more to save the day.
The fact people are still scared and shocked by the s*** that happens in Gotham Means Most people aren’t Desensitised to it, which means it isn’t every day.

That’s not even Mentioning the fact that the gangs are consistently at war, You do Not have a choice but to be affiliated because otherwise your sitting duck And while Gotham has dodgy cops at least there’s a few good ones. In NC They’re so rare It’s not worth considering, Tell me the fact that almost everyone is just decent sensitive to it all, In game they run but recording to the law most people See an execution and keep walking In fact, being mercenary is such a common job Children aspire to be mercs.

NC easily, if you don’t try and make a name for yourself in Night City, then you’re perfectly fine, just work a normal job in an apartment with a basic car, avoid dark alleyways and such, you’re basically living a completely normal life.

Night City yeah its dangerous but you have some really fun tech….and Gotham had no mans land event which basically turned it into a lawless city, Joker has gassed nearly the entire population posion ivy has made killer plants fill up the entire city (I think swamp thing literally turned it into a swamp once) and just way to many events that effected the whole city not to mention V puts down some of the biggest criminals and dangerous people in NC, Batman sends them to the same hospital they know all the escape routes for.

Like at least there’s food, jobs, and shelter in Night City. Most of Gotham lives in *serious* poverty. Just trying to get by day-to-day. Yeah, NC’s the same, but at least NC ain’t always dark and disgusting.
But on the other hand, there’s millions of criminals in NC, in Gotham? There’s about 90 big threats, and probably 100 smaller threats, each with a fuck-ton of smaller gang members. But, you’re a lot more likely to just get mugged in Gotham, than you are shot up in Night City. In Gotham you do have to worry about the occasional supervillain attempting to destroy everything though.
There’s less corporate corruption in Gotham, Gotham’s got the Falcone Mob, but Night City’s got the Big 3 Corps attempting to rule. So Gotham mainly only has government corruption. And a serious wealth disparity.
As an average citizen, existing day-to-day? I’d rather live in Gotham than Night City,
